Chapter 2: The Interviews

Detective Peter Pux spent the next several days following every lead he could find in the search for Jessica. He interviewed her friends and family, trying to piece together a timeline of her movements before she disappeared.

As he delved deeper into the case, Peter began to suspect that Jessica's new group of friends might have had something to do with her disappearance. They seemed evasive and unwilling to cooperate with the investigation, and Peter couldn't shake the feeling that they knew more than they were letting on.

He decided to focus his efforts on tracking down these friends and getting them to open up about their relationship with Jessica. It wasn't going to be easy, but Peter was determined to get to the bottom of this case and find out what had happened to Jessica.

He started by interviewing Jessica's closest friends, hoping to get a better sense of who she had been spending her time with lately. They told him about the new group of friends that Jessica had been hanging out with, and how she had seemed different lately. They didn't know much about the new friends, but they had a feeling that something wasn't quite right about them.

Peter made a mental note to follow up on this lead and see if he could get more information about these new friends. He also contacted Jessica's family and asked them to provide him with a list of anyone she might have been in contact with recently.

As he worked his way through the list of names, Peter began to suspect that one of Jessica's new friends, a young man named Alex, might have had a motive for wanting Jessica out of the picture. He made a note to follow up with Alex and see if he could get more information out of him.

With each new interview, Peter felt himself getting closer to the truth. He was determined to find out what had happened to Jessica, and bring those responsible to justice.
